How much do hotels costs in Barcelona?

This question has a whole range of answers. Depending where you are in the city, the standard of the hotel, and what time of year it is, will massively depend on what the cost of the hotel is. A 5 star hotel right on the beach in the height of summer will be around 450€ a night. However, a hotel on the outskirts of Barcelona in November will be about 60€ a night. General rule of thumb is if you want a 3-4 star hotel in the old town you will be looking at about 120€ a night.
